The Nigerian Presidency is insisting that the ban by the country’s Southern Governors on open Grazing is a show of power as they proffered no alternatives or solutions.
Garba Shehu, a senior special assistant on media to President Muhammadu Buhari stated this on Tuesday when he appeared on ARISE News.
According to the presidential aide, the objectives of both the southern governors and the president in terms of putting an end to open grazing are the same.
He noted that while President Buhari wants to see ranching, he wants it done in an organised manner.
He however called on the governors who have kicked against the alternative to open grazing provided by the President to respect the office of the Nigerian President.
