Nigeria Senators Threaten to Impeach Buhari Over Insecurity

The senators gave the President six weeks to address the rising insecurity in the country or face impeachment.

 

The minority caucus in the Nigerian senate on Wednesday given President Muhammadu Buhari a six-week ultimatum to address the rising insecurity in the country or face impeachment.

Minority leader of the senate, Phillip Aduda, disclosed this to reporters after staging a walk out from plenary along with other senators in the Peoples Democratic Party.

The caucus is asking the president to urgently find a solution to end the endless killings and growing threats in Abuja and other parts of the country.
