A former Secretary to the Government of Imo State Uche Onyeagocha says the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is not “statesman” enough to appreciate that citizens from all regions of the country worked hard to make him the leader of the West African country and has failed in that regard.
Mr Onyeagocha, a former member of the governing All Progressives Congress on Tuesday told ARISE News that the violence and tragedy occurring in the southeastern Imo state is a total failure of leadership at both the federal level and at the state level.
According to him, there is a deliberate decision by citizens to resist the rule of law in Nigeria due to the perceived injustice in the country and agitation for self-determination.
