Unmoved by the loud agitation for power shift to the south in the 2023 Presidential election, the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party says it will open up the contest for its presidential ticket to the six geo-political zones in the country.
This has caused agitation from the Igbo extraction of the nation who feel it would be unjust not to zone power to the east.
To continue the debate on this hot button issue and the position taken by the PDP, is Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo, former Governor of Enugu State and National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2010.
