Ifeanyi Ejiofor, counsel to the Biafra separatist leader Nnamdi Kanu says his life is constantly under threat and appealed to world leaders to prevail on the Nigerian government to provide protection for him.
Mr Ejiofor stated this on Monday when he featured on an ARISE News programme and said several attempts have been made on his life for the sake of being Kanu’s lawyer while people were recently killed in his premises.
He said the world must prevail on the federal government to provide protection for him against those who are hell-bent on terminating his life against defending his client. He noted that it’s within his constitutional right as a lawyer to defend anybody.
