News of the ransom demand was disclosed by spokesperson of the Kajuru Emirate Council, Dahiru Abubakar on Monday.
But according to the Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Area, Cafra Caino told journalists in the state that the emir was released Monday evening.
However, 13 other members of his family and cabinet are still with the abductors.
