Handlers of Nigeria have virtually and systematically destroyed the country’s domestic economy, that’s according to Dan Kunle, an energy finance expert and a former senior technical adviser to the former minister of state for energy.
This is a part of a larger reaction that continues to trail the Petroleum Industry Act with the federal government having no clue as to when to end the payment of subsidies.
Mr Kunle who on Thursday featured on an ARISE News programme, The Morning Show said as long as the subsidy gap keeps widening in the country, Nigeria will be financially insolvent within the next six months.
According to the energy expert, the West African country may find it extremely difficult to pay salaries unless the Central Bank of Nigeria begins printing money.
