A former Deputy Governor of Nigeria’s Central Bank, Dr. Obadiah Mailafia is dead.
President of the Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU) Jonathan Asake confirmed his death to ARISE News.
“It’s true, he is dead and I am on my way to his house for visitation,” Mr Asake said on the phone.
Reports suggest Mailafia who hails from Southern Kaduna died aged 56 after protracted illness.
