The All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate and Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has been re-elected for a second term.
Abiodun was declared winner after of all 20 local government areas in the state were collated.
The win was declared by the returning governorship election officer, Prof. Kayode Adebowale at the collation center in the state.
The Professor announced that Abiodun polled 276,298 votes to defeat the People’s Democratic party candidate, Oladipupo Adetutu, with a difference of 13,915 votes.
It was announced that there were a total of 2,688,305 registered voters while there were 66,406 accredited voters.
The Professor also announced that there were 645,133 votes with 18,835 votes declared invalid.
