Nigeria: Baptist Church Confirms Release of 6 Abducted Bethel Students

The President, Nigerian Baptist Convention Rev. Israel Adelani Akanji, on Friday confirmed the freeing of more six Bethel College students kidnapped by bandits in Kaduna State.

In a short statement, Akanji said five of the students and Matron were released to them on Friday evening while four were still with their captors.

“Glory be to God. Five of our Bethel Baptist High School students and the Matron (Making 6) have just been released to us this evening, October 8.

“We thank God and trust that the remaining four students will also be released.”
