Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress has postponed the screening of presidential aspirants initially scheduled for Monday, May 23, till further notice.
This was revealed in a statement by Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary on Sunday.
The statement reads:
“The Screening Excercise for Presidential Aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) earlier scheduled to be held on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, is hereby postponed.
“A new date for the exercise will be announced shortly.
“Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”
The APC is scheduled to hold its presidential primary on Sunday, May 29 and Monday, May 30.
