Nigeria Air: It Would Have Been Irresponsible of Me To Dismiss the Concerns, Says Aviation Minister Keyamo

Nigeria’s Aviation and Aerospace Development Minister Festus Keyamo has avoided explicitly branding the Nigeria Air project as fraudulent, citing concerns over potential adverse economic consequences for the country.

In a recent statement, the Minister clarified the decision to refrain from a comprehensive press interview just yet, citing a deliberate move not to preempt President Bola Tinubu’s decision on the matter.

The National carrier project, initiated during the Muhammadu Buhari administration, has faced condemnation from Nigerian airline operators who label it as contemptuous.
