Nigeria 0-1 Cameroon: Indomitable Lions Clip Eagles’ Wings

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have defeated Nigeria’s Super Eagles in an international friendly played in Austria on Friday.

A goal from Zambo Anguissa in the 37th minute was enough to see off a wasteful Nigerian side with the game ending 1-0.

The previous meeting between the two sides saw Nigeria defeat Cameroon in the quarter-finals of the 2019 African Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles winning the encounter 3-2.

The Eagles were however without several key players including Victor Osimhen, Simy Nwankwo, Leon Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Tyronne Ebuehi, Zaidu Sanusi, Ola Aina, Kenneth Omeruo and Kevin Akpoguma.
