US rapper Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty welcomed their first child last month, and now the star has revealed she gave birth to a baby boy.
Minaj announced her baby’s gender in an Instagram post featuring notes and gifts she received from Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci among others.
“Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time,” Minaj captioned her post. “It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world.”
Beyoncé’s note, featured first on the slide, reads, “Onika, Welcome to motherhood. God bless you and your family. B.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s “Congrats! We love you!” note came with balloons.
Prior to welcoming her first child, Nicki Minaj announced her in July alongside a series of photos taken by David LaChapelle and Alex “Grizz” Loucas.
The rapper began dating her childhood friend Kenneth in December 2018 before secretly tying the knot in 2019.
