It is now exactly three weeks and one day since an explosion was heard at a wellhead belonging to AITEO Eastern Exploration And Production Company in Bassambiri, Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
As the spill continues unabated with the company trying to contain it, the primary concern is the health and livelihood of the people as the oil pollution spreads to other communities.
