More than 23 people have been reportedly killed by gunmen in three communities in the Kaduna State. Several people were also said to have been injured and about 70 houses burnt down by the terrorists.
In the meantime, the Kaduna state government has declared a 24-hour curfew in Jema’a and Kaura Local government areas of the state.
A video showing some indigenes of Ile Ife in Osun state occupying the Obafemi Awolowo University in protest over the appointment of a new vice-chancellor of the institution is making the rounds on social media.. The indigenes were reported to have invaded the campus with charms and other fetish objects blocking two major gates on Monday and denied staff and students entry into the university.
