The 30th Anniversary of THISDAY took place on Monday in Lagos, hosting high-profile guests across industries.

The much-anticipated 30th anniversary of THISDAY Newspapers took place on Monday at the prestigious Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event, renowned for celebrating excellence and innovation, drew high-profile guests from across various sectors and industries. 

It was nothing short of glamorous, with the country’s elite gathering to commemorate the remarkable milestone of one of Africa’s leading news platforms.

in attendance were political heavyweights includong Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Sheriff Oborevwor of Delta State, Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom and Uba Sani of Kaduna.

Others were FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Senator Adams Oshiomhole and former Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Star-studded attendees at the event included Atedo Peterside, founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank; Maiden Alex Ibru, chair and publisher of The Guardian Newspapers; Tunde Onakoya, founder of Chess in Slums Africa; and Aminu Bello Masari, former Speaker of the House of Representatives. Also . 

The star of the show had to be Adding to the  of  and THISDAY’s Editor-in-Chief, Nduka Obaigbena, just to mention a few.

Guests were welcomed to a beautiful reception anchored by ARISE News personalities Ojy Okpe and Akinfemi Akinsanya, alongside renowned comedian Bovi, who kept the crowd entertained with their vibrant energy and charm. The red carpet dazzled with elegance as attendees dressed to impress, setting the tone for an evening filled with celebration and recognition.

Adding much extra stardust was Nigerian crooner Flavour, while the legendary songstress Diana Ross added even more prestige to the occasion.
