Mary J. Blige has been inducted into the Apollo Theatre’s iconic Walk of Fame.

She joins other legends like Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Patti Labelle, Smokey Robinson, Ella Fitzgerald, the Temptations and many more.

Meanwhile, American actor Bill Cosby won’t be paroled this year after refusing to participate in sex offender programs during his nearly three years in state prison in Pennsylvania.

The 83-year-old Cosby has long said he would resist the programs and refuse to acknowledge wrongdoing even if it means serving the full 10-year sentence.

Finally, TIME has released the newest class of Next Generation Leaders and Nigeria-born Akwaeke Emezi, best-selling author of the critically acclaimed “Freshwater”, “PET” and “The Death of Vivek Oji”, made the list.
