Mourinho suggested that City get preferential treatment from the England set-up in terms of rest and recuperation ahead of important club games, citing Raheem Sterling as an example.
Sterling withdrew from Southgate’s latest squad with an injury, while Spurs striker Harry Kane played in both Nations League fixtures against Belgium and Iceland.
“We all know that (Raheem) Sterling is going to play tomorrow,” Mourinho said.
