Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, former Governor of Delta state, Chief James Ibori and immediate past Governor of River state, Nyesom Wike, have been sighted at the State House, Abuja.
Ibori, was Governor between 1999 and 2007 same period when President Bola Tinubu was Lagos state governor; Wike was Rivers State Governor from 2015 to 2023 while Makinde is a sitting governor whose second term expires in 2027.
The trio are chieftains of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
They arrived the seat of government at about 4.20pm about the time the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holding Plc, Mr Herbert Wigwe, who had been to the President’s office, was walking out and headed straight to the office of the President in the State House.
Both Governor Makinde and former Governor Wike are considered to be allies of President Tinubu and believed to have played supporting roles in his election during the February 29, 2023 poll.
They are currently meeting with President Tinubu in his office.
