Nigeria Decides: Sanwo-Olu Re-Elected Governor of Lagos State

Incumbent Governor Babajide of Lagos State and candidate of All Progressives Congress, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is heading to a convincing victory as the Independent National Electoral Commission commences collation of result from the 20 Local Government Areas.

Results of 19 LGA’s show that Sanwo-Olu has 736, 161 of votes cast, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party got 292, 362 and Olajide “Jandor” Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party got 60, 981.

However, Saturday’s elections which also included contests for the state House of Assembly were marred by cases of voter suppression and violence.
