Kanye West To Counter-Sue Former Assistant Over Sexual Harassment Allegations

Kanye West has announced plans to counter-sue his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta, following her lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment and breach of contract. Pisciotta’s lawsuit alleges that West sent her vulgar texts and performed sexual acts while on the phone with her.

West’s legal representative has dismissed these accusations as “baseless” and accused Pisciotta of engaging in “blackmail and extortion” after West allegedly rejected her sexual advances. “In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta,” the representative added, referring to the rapper by his current preferred name.

It is believed that Pisciotta worked for West from 2021 to 2022, initially on his fashion line before becoming his personal assistant with a salary of $1 million per year. She claims that during her employment, West bombarded her with explicit texts, including pornographic videos, and masturbated while on the phone with her. On one occasion, she alleges, he trapped her in a private room on his plane and pleasured himself in front of her.

Pisciotta further claims she was abruptly fired in 2022 and did not receive her promised severance package. West’s lawyer contested these claims, stating that Pisciotta was terminated for being unqualified and demanding unreasonable sums of money, including an annual salary of $4 million. The lawyer also accused Pisciotta of “lascivious, unhinged conduct” and consistently using “sexual coercion” to demand money and luxury items, including designer handbags and a Lamborghini.

The statement from West’s representative alleges that after rejecting Pisciotta’s advances, she attempted to blackmail him for $60 million.

Pisciotta posted a message on her Instagram story on Tuesday saying, “Your soul becomes aligned with freedom when you allow others the liberty to dislike you, judge you and disagree with you.”
