Kanye West will no longer be able to call himself a billionaire.Ye lost the billion-dollar status after Adidas ended the relationship with the rapper over his anti-Semitic comments and attitudes that have fueled hate groups. The Adidas deal generated Kanye West $1.5 billion in net worth. However, Forbes claims that West would only be worth $400 million without his Adidas business.

Kanye West previously mentioned that “I can say anti-Semitic shit and Adidas can’t let me.” Following multiple statements against the Jewish community, Adidas scuttled the deal with Kanye West.

“Adidas does not tolerate anti-Semitism or any other type of hate speech,” the athletic company said in a statement Tuesday following West’s series of anti-Semitic comments.

“Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”The relationship between Kanye West and Adidas began in 2013, when the two launched the Yeezy brand.

Adidas wasn’t the only brand to walk away from deals with West. GAP, Balenciaga and Vogue ended the relationship with Ye.
