The Kaduna State Government says no fewer than 387 people have been killed in Zango-Kataf and Kauru Local Government areas of the state in the last two years.
The state government blamed the killing on the attacks and counter attacks between the Hausa and Fulani community and Atyap natives in the two LGAs.
Arise News Correspondent Nissi Gabriel reports that to forestall further violence the Nigerian Defence Headquarters is setting up a military base in the region to tackle the hostilities.
