INEC Releases Election Guidelines – ARISE News Report

Nine months to the 2023 general elections, the independent national electoral commission says it has concluded the planning processes to ensure the success of the 2023 polls.

INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, who unveiled the guidelines for the conduct of the 2023 elections in a meeting with the inter-agency consultative committee on election security, directed Resident Electoral Commissioners to liaise with the security agencies on the possibility of reopening Voter registration centers earlier closed because of insecurity.
