India’s 18th General Election Results To Be Announced June 4

India has concluded its 18th Lok Sabha election and results are to be counted and announced on June 4.

The Election Commission of India will announce the results of the country’s 18th Lok Sabha (general) election on June 4, following six weeks and seven phases of what has been the largest democratic process ever conducted worldwide.

The counting process will commence at 8 am on Tuesday, with results anticipated to be declared on the same day.

Votes will be counted simultaneously at designated counting centers across all 543 constituencies in the country.

The outcome of the election will determine the composition of India’s next government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is vying for a third consecutive term, while the opposition, led by the Congress party, aims to challenge their dominance.

Exit polls have widely forecasted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will secure a historic third term, despite allegations of irregularities during the electoral proceedings.
