Governor of Ebonyi, Dave Umahi says he has informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to contest the presidency in the 2023 general election.
Umahi’s announcement comes 24 hours after Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress informed Buhari of his intention to contest the presidency in 2023.
Umahi told reporters that the president has told him to consult widely. He says he is not perturbed by Tinubu’s entry into the presidential race
