German police are searching for a man who abandoned a bag of explosives at a Berlin train station and fled after being approached by federal officers.
According to reports, a police spokesperson stated on Thursday, “We are investigating all possibilities,” noting that the suspect has yet to be identified.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at Neukölln station, where the man escaped after officers intervened. Explosives were discovered in the bag he left behind, as reported on the social media platform X.
The bag was subsequently transported to a nearby park, where a controlled explosion was carried out.
