A former governor of Kaduna state Balarabe Musa has died. He was 84 years old.
Musa’s daughter also confirmed that his death occurred on Wednesday morning and will be buried later in the afternoon.
The late elder statesman is popular for being the first governor in the history of Nigeria to be impeached.
A former lawmaker and activist, Senator Shehu Sani also announced Musa’s death on Twitter.
He said, “Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his souls and grant him Aljanna firdausi.Amin.”
