FG Against Naming and Shaming Terror Sponsors – Trending with Ojy Okpe


Following the announcement of six Nigerians out of 38 persons on the UAE’s list of terrorism sponsors last week, presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina on live television on Monday, said the federal government is not interested in naming and shaming them.

Meanwhile Christopher Musa, theatre commander of the north-east joint task force — Operation Hadin Kai – has attributed the surrendering of many Boko Haram insurgents to prayers from Nigerians.

An African-inspired restaurant “Ikoyi” which was named after a district in Lagos, Nigeria, has become the first restaurant in the United Kingdom to top a World 50 Best Restaurant list.

Also, a video that captured a group of women, in a village allegdedly in Kwara State, digging up the soil with their bare hands in search of drinking water, is making the rounds on social media.

More videos are emerging showing the deplorable state, of some major roads in different parts of Nigeria.

Here is one of such, by a man in Ogun State, who says even animals wouldn’t survive successfully in his community.

In another video, a man in Anambra State alleged that a private individual even offered to repair the deplorable road, but was told to stop by the federal government.
