Fast Rising Jewellery Brand, Lola Fenhirst, To Showcase At Sotheby’s Dubai

Lola Fenhirst, an independent, small-batch fine jewellery company, will take its turn to showcase at Sotheby’s Dubai private selling exhibition, which has this year, featured cutting edge contemporary jewellers from around the world.

Lola Fenhirst’s private exhibition will take place from 18-22 September, as part of a year-long Sotheby’s Dubai initiative that has given jewellers worldwide a platform to showcase their talents, with some launching new collections with the brand.

Lola Fenhirst, based in Paris, was founded by Lola Oladunjoye, in 2015 and has been known over the years for its striking architectural and afro-modernist aesthetic.

In order to create wearable art that combines traditional African ornamentation motifs with the greatest in European jewelry-making technology, Oladunjoye relies on her Anglo-Nigerian history and Yoruba heritage.

Oladunjoye brings a deep intellectual curiosity and multi-disciplinary approach to her work.

Prior to jewellery design, she had spent 18 years practicing high technology law in California’s Silicon Valley.

Her collection reflects a sense of timeless elegance, focusing on bold silhouettes, clean lines and ease of wear.

In addition to designing fine jewellery, Oladunjoye is also a writer whose articles exploring complex issues such as identity and family heritage have been featured in British Vogue.

Hollywood celebrities including Halle Berry, Angela Bassett, Kelly Rowland, Michaela Coel, Keke Palmer, Emily Blunt, Laverne Cox, and Uzo Aduba, to mention a few, have quickly adopted Lola Fenhirst as their go-to brand for red carpet jewellery.
