France sneaked into the semi-finals of Euro 2024 after overcoming Portugal on penalty kicks, with Lucas Hernandez dispatching the winning kick.
A match characterised by poor finishing was decided by João Felix hitting the post in the penalty shootout to hand France the advantage.
The blues made no mistake and took full advantage, scoring all five of their spot kicks and giving Portugal keeper Diogo Costa no chance, despite his heroics in the round of 16 when he saved three penalties against Slovakia.
