The Lagos State Judicial Panel hearing cases of police brutality on Friday, awarded compensation to some victims of police brutality.

Among those who received compensation of N10 million was Adebayo Abayomi, for the extra judicial killing of his mother Kudirat Adebayo, and Hannah Olugbodi for being shot by a police officer.
The presentation of the cheque was made on behalf of the Lagos State Government by chairman of the Lagos Judicial Panel, Justice Doris Okuwobi.
