Election: Gunfire In Imo As Police Clash With Party Agents

Reported sounds of gunfire have disrupted the atmosphere at Amaimo Central School, Amaimo ward, Ikeduru LGA, Imo state, as people have begun to cast their ballots in the off cycle gubernatorial election.

It was reported that police officers and party agents got into an altercation at the polling station.

Since then, the off-cycle gubernatorial elections that are being held today in the three states of Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa have begun to take place.
