Olawunmi Bayode – broke a two-decade record of 365 hours and 39 seconds set in the Dominican Republic in July, 2001.
The five Nigerians are part of an initiative that encourages reading culture through the iRead Afrika Foundation.
Supported by the Lagos State government, the foundation organized the reading competition with the hope of raising N500million towards building 20 functional libraries across Nigeria.
Finally, a video of a man who took it upon himself to commission a house built by his children in his hometown is making the rounds on social media.
In the video, the man took a swipe at the federal government and his state government for not commissioning any project in his community.
