Ekweremadu And Wife Arraigned For Organ Harvesting -Trending With Ojy Okpe

 

The arrest of Nigeria’s former deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice by the United Kingdom’s metropolitan police on Thursday has garnered several reactions.

The couple were arraigned for conspiracy to arrange the travel of a child, potential modern slavery and organ harvesting. The case has been adjourned till July 7th

A lagos based human rights Lawyer, Malcolm Omirhobo on Thursday set social media abuzz after he appeared before the supreme court dressed as a semi lawyer and a traditionalist. The lawyer who is from delta state, claimed to have been expressing his fundamental human rights following the recent verdict of the apex court which legalised the wearing of hijab in schools.
