EKEDC Announces Widespread Power Outage Due to Suspected System Collapse

Eko Electricity Disgribution Company has reported a suspected potential system failure or collapse at approximately 11:29 a.m. today, which has caused a simultaneous loss of electricity supply in the affected areas.

In an official statement released on X, EKEDC assured customers that it is working closely with partners to investigate the cause and ensure a swift restoration of power. 

While the exact timeline for restoration remains unclear, the company has asked for patience as they address the issue.
