Donald Trump has won the US presidential election, marking an unprecedented return to the White House and hailing his victory as a “magnificent” achievement.
Addressing ecstatic supporters in Florida, the President-elect declared, “America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate.”
Trump’s path to victory came through decisive wins in pivotal swing states, including North Carolina, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
These states were crucial to securing his position against Vice President Kamala Harris, who has yet to formally concede or address her supporters. Dejected crowds began leaving Harris’s watch party earlier as the results began solidifying in Trump’s favour.
