DJ Khaled has released his 12th studio album, ‘Khaled Khaled,’ nearly two years since his last full-length project.
The star-studded, 14-track LP features a massive string of guests, including JAY-Z, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Nas, Drake, Post Malone, 21 Savage, Justin Timberlake, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, Lil Baby, DaBaby, Migos, H.E.R., Roddy Ricch, and Puff Daddy.
Khaled Khaled is the follow-up to DJ Khaled’s 2019 LP Father of Asahd which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and features his first Grammy-winning song “Higher,” featuring John Legend and Nipsey Hussle. Two years prior to releasing that, Khaled dropped his 10th album, Grateful.
“I always wanted to make an album called Khaled Khaled,” the famed record producer said. It was an idea that geminated long before he released his first LP in 2006, Listennn… the Album.
“But I knew it had to come at a certain time. I figured I had to get past 10 albums. … But now, it’s time for the new chapter, the evolving of Khaled Khaled.”
Khaled Khaled also includes his pair of top 10 Drake collaborations that were released in tandem last July: “Popstar,” which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Greece,” which reached No. 8.
