AGF Abubakar Malami, said the meeting was fully briefed by the Chief of Defence Staff, the three service chiefs, Inspector-General of Police and heads of other security agencies.
He urged security agents to maintain peace and order in a manner that does not breach the citizen’s right to vote.
“No member of G5 can railroad another member into supporting anyone against his will as suggested by Senator Kalu.”
The APC denied that the ex-Lagos governor threw wads of naira notes to crowd.
It called for proactive intervention to calm tensions and revent violence.
He said Africa and the world is watching and hoping that the outcome of the elections will bring all parties together to build a better country.
He said Tinubu will be defeated because of the Muslim – Muslim ticket of the APC.

“This month’s elections will be Africa’s largest democratic exercise. The outcomes of the elections will be significant not only for Nigeria, but also for the entire continent.”

“From one state to the other, we saw a people fatigued by failed governance but looking very eager and willing to see a new Nigeria.”
He said the APC candidate will turn Nigeria to his personal fiefdom.
However, a group of former agitators from the Niger Delta distanced themselves from the endorsement of the Atiku/Okowa ticket by the Reformed Niger Delta Avengers.
“Maybe the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was right that some governors are keeping billions of naira in their compounds across the country.”
