The Governor of Cross River State Ben Ayade on Tuesday said that he has informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to contest the presidency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress and that the president advised him to make further consultations on his ambition.

He however said that he has not informed the President of his ambition because Buhari’s antecedent is not to back a presidential aspirant.
