The Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress on Thursday said President Muhammadu Buhari has shown further personal commitment to the cause of the All Progressives Congress and its Presidential flag-bearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the 2023 Presidential election, by indicating his readiness to be physically present at some of its forthcoming presidential campaign rallies.
This was in a statement signed by Tinubu/Shettima campaign spokesperson
Festus Keyamo (SAN), who is also deputy minister for labour.
Buhari had earlier attended the flag-off of the Presidential Campaign in Jos on November 15, 2022. This was after accepting to be the Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling party.
In the latest Campaign Time Table released Thursday, January 5, the President is billed to join the Campaign Train in at least ten states.
The states are Adamawa on January 9; Yobe State on January 10; Sokoto State on January 16; Kwara State on January 17; Ogun State on January 25; Cross River State on January 30; Nassarawa State on February 4; Katsina State on February 6; Imo State on February 14 and the Grand Finale in Lagos State on February 18.
The PCC expressed its profound gratitude to the President for his sterling and inspirational leadership and for galvanising teeming members and supporters across the country.
“We urge our party faithfuls and supporters to turn out en masse, as usual, in the forthcoming campaign rallies,” the APC PCC said.
“The zero hour is nigh; our spirits must be high; we must not relent in this our collective march to our victory that is divinely ordained.”
