President Muhammadu Buhari has met with the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting, which reportedly held at the President’s Residence inside the Villa, according to reliable sources, took place on Wednesday morning shortly before the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, held in the Council Chambers of the State House.
Though the reason for the meeting, coming barely a day after the President presented the APC flag bearer to voters at a campaign rally in Owerri, the Imo State capital, could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report, it was believed to be in connection with issues of campaigns and possibly other pressing national issues.
