Popular Entertainer, Britney Spears, and her husband, Sam Asghari, separated after 14 months of marriage.
According to the Associated Press (AP), a person close to Asghari but not authorised to speak publicly verified the Asghari had filed for divorce on Wednesday.
The couple met in 2016 on the set of a music video for Britney Spears in 2016, and they held their marriage ceremony in June 2022. Asghari was also instrumental in her conservatorship battle with her father, Jamie.
The couple recently appeared without their wedding rings in public.
The split comes as Spears prepares to release her memoir, The Woman in Me, in October.
