A yet-to-be identified number of workers are currently trapped at a building which collapsed in the Kuntau area of Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State.
The National Emergency Management Agency says out of the five persons rescued so far, three are dead while the remaining two are receiving treatment at the hospital.
Rescue operation still ongoing for other trapped victims.
The total number of casualties is yet to be ascertained.
