Boko Haram Kill Over 18 Persons in Northeast Nigeria’s Adamawa State

Members of the suspected Boko Haram terrorists have been reported to allegedly resumed attacks on communities, killed over 18 persons while many others injured in Hong Local Government Areas (LGA) of Adamawa state .

Reports from the affected areas revealed that the terrorists, came in large numbers shooting sporadically to scare the security Manning those areas to pave away for them to carry out their heinous crimes of killing and also looting of food items and other valuables.

It further revealed that the terrorists first stormed Dabna village near Gahara the village of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Mr Boss Mustapha to other communities.

The source said the terrorists continue their attacks to Kwapre village and other Hamlets , in Hong LGA.

According to the report, the Boko Haram terrorists group has exercises a long silence since last year ending in the state only for the terrorists to resume its attacks at the wee hours of Wednesday morning on communities in the affected areas which is about 6 to 10 km to the dreaded sambisa forest , the enclave of the terrorists.

Other sources stated that before the terrorists stormed most of the Communities, the residents had flee their villages to near by bush to hide adding that terrorists followed some of them into the bush while others were killed within the communities

” Those of us lucky escaped through the bushes. About now, many of our fellow villagers have been trapped and I fear they may have been killed”.

Another source said, about 18 human corpses were found in Kwapre, Dabna villages near Garaha SGF Boss Mustapha’s village.

He said he saw the military evacuating the corpses from the bush where they were killed by the terrorists into the villages to be taken to the hospital in Hong town

According to him ,the military fighter jets presently have engaged the terrorists with aerial bombardment.

However the authorities are yet to confirm the attacks and ascertain the numbers casualties

Attempt made to reach the military and police spokespersons were fruitless at the time of sending this report.
