After surviving series of evictions in this season of Big Brother Naija, TrikyTee also known as Mr Tranquillity finally bowed out of the game. He is the 14th housemate to be evicted from the show that kicked off in July.
Contrary to popular opinion that he ingratiated himself with the Head of House to save himself from nominations, the 35-year-old creative artist from Bayelsa State denied that he ever used such a strategy. He said he generally flowed with everybody in the house.
He is one of the few housemates who didn’t get into an “entanglement” during his stay in the house.
While TrikyTee left the house with a happy mien, it was a devastated Ozo who bade the house goodbye, but not necessarily because he was evicted. He was sad about leaving Nengi, his love interest in the house.
This, despite the fact Nengi repeatedly rebuffed his advances, because – according to her – she’s in a have a relationship outside the house.
However, her constant rejection did not discourage Ozo. He continued to push for a ‘yes’ until his eviction. While other housemates tried to give him a goodbye hug, his focus was on Nengi.
As if on the verge of a breakdown, he pleaded with her to be strong and that he will be waiting for her. He didn’t mind that he was running out of time, all the while comforting Nengi who for the first time broke down in tears seeing Ozo leave the house. Nevertheless, she didn’t offer his lips when he tried to kiss her.
During his chat with show host, Ebuka, Ozo said he knew many thought him a dumb guy because of his insistence with Nengi but “I found someone that I felt I could sacrifice my life with. She got many great qualities I like,” he disclosed.
He added that he started noticing her in the third week. He was particularly drawn to her aspirations.
The eviction of Ozo and TrikyTee leave Dorathy, Nengi, Neo, Laycon and Vee in the final week of the game. One of them will emerge winner on Sunday, September 27, and cart away the N85 million grand prize.
