Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Resigns, Flees Country As Protesters Storm Palace

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has stepped down and departed the country on Monday, according to media reports.

This comes as the country experiences severe violence, with casualties reported in some of the worst unrest since Bangladesh’s independence over fifty years ago.
