The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has taken decisive action, suspending the operations of Dana Air according to reports.
The directive was prompted by an incident involving a Dana Air plane on April 23, which led aviation authorities to divert flights from the local to the international airport.
The decision to suspend Dana Air’s operations was approved by Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation.
Recall that on Tuesday, Dana Air airplane skidded off the runway at the Lagos airport, prompting the diversion of other flights to the international airport.
However, Dana Air swiftly reassured the public that there were no casualties recorded.
