Former Governor of Lagos State, Babalola Fashola, clarifies that his statement on the infrastructure in Nigeria, was not him saying that “Nigeria is ahead of the US”. A representative of Fashola emphasised that part of his statement was taken out of turn for the media.
The UK home Office finally responded to the protest against the International English Language Testing System for Nigerians. They have confirmed that Nigerians will not be exempt from this test or any other English Language tests currently in place as a requirement for those considering study, migration or work abroad.
